By accessing and using Aelara's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including: • Free tier users • Paid subscribers (Starter and Professional plans) • Trial users • Visitors interacting with chatbots powered by Aelara
2. Description of Service
Aelara provides AI-powered chatbot services that allow you to: • Create and customize chatbots for your website • Upload knowledge base documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD) • Embed chatbots on any website • Track conversations and analytics • Receive AI-powered training suggestions Service availability and features vary by subscription tier (Free, Starter, Professional).
3. Account Registration and Security
To use Aelara, you must: • Provide accurate and complete registration information • Maintain the security of your account credentials • Be at least 16 years of age • Not use the service for illegal purposes You are responsible for all activity under your account. 4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Free Plan: • 50 messages/month • 1 chatbot • 2 MB knowledge base • "Powered by Aelara" branding Starter Plan (€9.90/month): • 1,500 messages/month • 2 chatbots • 50 MB knowledge base per chatbot • Custom branding Professional Plan (€29.90/month): • 8,000 messages/month • 3 chatbots • 250 MB knowledge base per chatbot • Full white-label, API access Billing Terms: • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance • Prices are in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes • Payments processed via Stripe or Montonio • Automatic renewal unless cancelled • Refunds available within 7 days of initial purchase
5. Usage Limits and Fair Use
Usage is subject to tier-specific limits: • Message quotas reset monthly on your billing date • Exceeding limits may result in service interruption • We reserve the right to throttle excessive usage • Abuse, spam, or malicious use will result in account termination
6. Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content: • You retain ownership of all content you upload • You grant Aelara a license to process your content to provide services • You represent that you have the right to upload all content • You are responsible for ensuring content complies with applicable laws Aelara's Intellectual Property: • The Aelara platform, code, and AI models are our proprietary property • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software • "Aelara" trademark and branding are protected
7. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated responses are provided "as-is": • We do not guarantee accuracy or appropriateness of AI responses • You are responsible for reviewing and moderating chatbot outputs • We are not liable for decisions made based on AI suggestions You should: • Test your chatbot thoroughly before public deployment • Monitor conversations regularly • Update knowledge base to improve accuracy
8. Data Privacy and GDPR Compliance
We are committed to GDPR compliance: • See our Privacy Policy for detailed data handling practices • You are the data controller for visitor conversations • We are the data processor • We use EU-region data centers (Supabase, Vercel)
9. Service Availability and Support
Uptime: • We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance Support: • Free tier: Email support (48-hour response time) • Starter tier: Priority email support (24-hour response time) • Professional tier: Priority support + API assistance (12-hour response time)
10. Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel at any time: • Cancel via account settings • Access continues until end of billing period • Data export available for 30 days after cancellation • Automatic deletion after 30 days We may terminate your account if: • You violate these Terms of Service • Payment fails repeatedly • You engage in abusive or illegal activity
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: • Aelara is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
12. Governing Law and Disputes
